Probably horse riding. Or the time I went to the cinema with my friend and his daughters to see the new Super Mario Brothers film. I also like to draw and paint for relaxation and fun.
I used to draw in my dad’s hospital room as he was dying when he was sleeping. Drawing is therapeutic and has helped me through the process of his illness and inevitable death. My dad had gall stones which were blocking up his gall bladder causing it to become infected. The hospital surgeons would usually have operated to remove the infected gall bladder to save the patient that way but they couldn’t in my dad’s case due to his numerous health problems such as cardiovascular disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes and so on he wouldn’t have survived the operation. So the infection from his blocked up gall bladder spread to my dad’s body killing him. I know this isn’t a happy thing to write about but drawing helped me to get through it all.
RIP dad Grandad Eugene to my nephews and grandpawrent to your grandchildren in fur Chloe and Jinx.

Thank you. I wanted to spend as much time as I could with my dad during his final weeks and I did that.
